Who We Are
💓Spreading the Love One Mask at a Time💓
We are a collaboration of volunteers and passionate people who have come together to provide our vulnerable community members, our neighbors and our loved ones, who are working in high-risk occupations, with handmade, non-medical face masks in hopes of slowing the spread of Covid-19 in our community.
The following organizations will accept masks you wish to donate (if you would like to be added to this list, please use the Contact Us Link below):
Marsho Medical Clinic, Sheboygan
Sharon Richardson Hospice Care, Sheboygan Falls
Mead Public Library, Sheboygan
Planned Parenthood, Sheboygan
Safety is our top priority!
Please follow these best practices when donating masks:
Sanitize your hands in your car before/after dropping off masks and wash thoroughly when returning home.
- If you have gloves, wear them.
Touch only what you have to.
Using hand sanitizer or Lysol, please ensure you do not spray any Lysol on fabric or masks.
If you are delivering masks at a location and going inside, please wear gloves and a mask.
As of August 31, 2020 Sheboygan County Mask Makers will no longer be accepting new requests for masks. We would like to thank our community for their efforts in helping those in need both inside and outside our community.
Thank you for all of the generous donations. Sheboygan County Mask Makers are no longer accepting material donations.
The Deaconess pattern makes a cloth replica of a paper surgical mask with three horizontal pleats and elastic ear loops. This is the most commonly requested mask and most suitable for patients to use as it is easy to put on. We are leaving a small opening along the bottom edge so that users can insert a filter if they choose. A 1-inch opening is enough for the user to open further.
One size fits all.
