Who We Are

💓Spreading the Love One Mask at a Time💓

We are a collaboration of volunteers and passionate people who have come together to provide our vulnerable community members, our neighbors and our loved ones, who are working in high-risk occupations, with handmade, non-medical face masks in hopes of slowing the spread of Covid-19 in our community.

Key Information

Drop Box Location and Safety

Safety is our top priority!

Drop Box Locations are given by request only. If you have masks to drop off at one of our donation sites, please send a request that includes the city where you are located.

Please follow these best practices when donating your masks:

  • Sanitize your hands in your car before/after dropping off masks and wash thoroughly when returning home.

  • If you have gloves, wear them.

  • Touch only what you have to. Please do not rummage through bins.

  • Using hand sanitizer or Lysol, please wipe/spray the top/handles of the bin. Please ensure you do not spray any Lysol on fabric or masks.

  • If you are delivering our masks to fill a request at a location and going inside, please wear gloves and a mask.

Mask Requests

We are getting more and more requests for masks every day. Our priority is providing masks to healthcare providers, first responders and at-risk populations. Any one is welcome to fill out a request form. Our group does not provide masks for individual sale nor do we accept payment for the masks we donate.

Mask Patterns

Deaconess

The Deaconess pattern makes a cloth replica of a paper surgical mask with three horizontal pleats and elastic ear loops. This is the most commonly requested mask and most suitable for patients to use as it is easy to put on. We are leaving a small opening along the bottom edge so that users can insert a filter if they choose. A 1-inch opening is enough for the user to open further.

One size fits all. â€‹
